The sample covers this in three parts: Diagnosing the characteristics of a person's behavior, determining what treatment to provide based on those characteristics, and the strengths and weaknesses of a particular therapy.Defining the Problem: This is an extremely important part of analyzing a problem, especially in the health care arena. As you look at a specific problem, you must first figure out what the problem is and then look at how that problem is caused by a human being. If the problem is caused by a disease, for example, you must look at how the disease can be prevented or cured, and even if there is a cure.Defining the Key Insights: You must know what basic questions you are trying to answer. Sometimes this can be as simple as: 'Why is it important to give the patient pain m edication?' While others might focus on problems with a certain body part, such as his/her appendix.Defining the Fundamental Differences: A few of the many ideas covered in the sample include: diagnosing a problem, determining what the problem is, and how different treatments help a person overcome the problem. Some ideas may include which illnesses can be prevented, and which illnesses cannot. Other examples include: how things are given to people to treat different symptoms, or some injuries that cannot be healed.Describing the Disease: Usually a disease is described in a very general way. The idea here is to come up with a specific disease, as well as a specific treatment.
